This interview was from about 5 years ago, and I haven’t spoken with the interviewee since that time, so I can reach out and ask, but the chances of a response are low.

I don’t believe it was a target university. Master’s programs are generally not a great way to get into IB in Canada because there are many fewer positions than in the U.S., they mostly recruit out of the Top 5 undergrad business programs, and to have a good shot, you’d probably need a Master’s at one of those Top 5 schools.

BTW, I have experience at a less well known buyside area

If you are a few years out (<2) from university, is is better to go back and do a masters' (say MFE in UoT) or MBA if one wishes to get into the IB game in canada?
