Sure, but I’m not sure how much an MBA or EMBA really helps with private banking recruiting (it’s not an area we track closely on this site). PB recruiting does tend to be more unstructured because they just want people who can win clients and generate fees, so there’s less of a “path” than in other areas. So if you can show some evidence of that, you should have a good chance.

I think you should take their advice and pursue jobs that fit your personality and skill set, even if other students are doing different things.
