I would tend to agree with you. Too much is left “undisclosed” or “confidential,” which is ridiculous when many of these companies have raised capital at higher valuations in later rounds. I don’t use AngelList much anymore for these and other reasons – it would have been better to allocate the same funds to the NASDAQ and use that as my high-risk/high-reward category.

Both Senti Biosciences (through Noveus Capital Management) and Amprius (via Prithvi Ventures) have gone public with NO notice to me as an investor. Our shares have been mysteriously tied up. Eventually Senti resulted in a 90% loss announced by a deposit in my account.
